MSI brings back GAMING series for GeForce xx50 class GPU: RTX 5050 GAMING announced - VideoCardz.com
MSI was the first to recognize the potential of adding “Gaming” to its product names, developing an entire series around this concept before any other brand began adding “Gaming” to all their cards. The time when the Gaming series represented MSI’s top-tier offering is long gone. Today, that title belongs to the SUPRIM series.
A recent update to MSI’s website confirms the company will launch two RTX 5050 GAMING models. The GAMING RTX 5050 features a dual-slot, dual-fan design but lacks one key element: RGB lighting. This is notable because its direct predecessor did include lighting, albeit limited to the side logo.

Both cards use the Twin Frozr 10 cooling solution with Stormforce fans. Interestingly, the product description makes no mention of 0dB technology, which suggests the fans may run continuously regardless of temperature.

MSI will introduce two models: one with factory overclocking and one without. Users can expect clock speeds of 2572 MHz or 2632 MHz out of the box, depending on the version, or 2587 MHz and 2647 MHz respectively when using MSI Center software.
According to NVIDIA, RTX 5050 cards will launch this month, while Amazon is already teasing the release of the Shadow 2X model for tomorrow.
